DeWitt Godfrey teaches at Colgate University. He received his B.A. from Yale University, an M.F.A. from Edinburgh College of Art, and was a Core Fellow at the M.F.A.H. He has shown his work nationally and internationally, including the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, Massachusetts; Sculpture Center, New York; and Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston. He is the recipient of numerous grants and fellowships, including an NEA artists fellowship, NYFA artists fellowship, and the Japan Foundation artists fellowship. His work is in numerous public and private collections including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and the Brooklyn Museum, New York.
