Overview
The War Hymn Monument is a 1.6 times life-size single bronze sculpture, in which twelve Texas A&M students are linking arms and legs in the midst of their War Hymn cheer. It is installed at the entrance to the newly renovated Kyle Field stadium. It is the longest single bronze sculpture at any athletic stadium in the United States.
Goals
The monument is a celebration of the tradition of enthusiastic support for Texas A&M athletics and the legacy of camaraderie with particular attention paid to gender and ethnic diversity.
