Overview
This project was a timeline for U.S. Army Medical Research Center located in Aberdeen Proving Ground. It's 10' x 46″ x 4″ and made of wood, stainless and copper.
Goals
The U.S. Army wanted a timeline for this facility when this space was being re-done. The government committee developed the text and the arrangement of the work and I worked with this client through Peggy Noakes of American Art Resources.
Process
Peggy and I developed several designs and the client decided to have the timeline done in a linear fashion over the 10' span. It was fabricated in two sections and shipped to the location where the Peggy had it installed.
Additional Information
Since this is a private government building, it wasn't possible to get images of the work in the setting.
