“Time is a thought connected to life itself; time passes by and ends with us . A project reflecting upon the concept of TIME is a very ambitious proposition for a figurative artist. The palpitation of light is like the beating of a heart; the heart is the tempo of life. years, hours, minutes are a human thought, related to existence and calculated forever by man by mean of: “Time Machines.” This golden hourglass is a contemporary piece, a vital and ephemeral object, and celebrative of life itself.”
The goal of this installation was a dialogue between the ancient square and one of the oldest clock tower existing in Italy since 14th century. the installation was commissioned by the ancient institution "fraternita de' laici" which promotes events and exhibitions in the square which is as beautiful as a private sitting room of a palace. The "time machine" was the project for christmas festivity 2013-2014.
