Overview

I rode horses with a trail riding group in the San Francisco Bay Area. The business owner contacted me to commission some horse-themed art pieces, featuring her horses and her ranch, for the Air BNB owned by she and her husband. She requested that my iPhonography images be printed on metal and then painted with gold leaf and glass crystals, similar to an earlier commission I completed for her private home. I went to their property, consulted about their needs, looked at the space, and captured images of their horses on two occasions to make use of optimal lighting conditions.

Goals

The ranch and Air BNB owners requested art featuring their horses, that would complement their new Air BNB accommodations.

Process

We discussed online, I visited their property twice to get a sense of the space and to take pictures of the horses. I sent several images and they chose the three that they wanted. We agreed on sizing ranging from 20" x 20" to 30" x 40" and they chose substrates (metal painted with gold leaf and glass crystals).
