Overview

Star Cluster / Cell Cluster was commissioned by San Diego County Operations center for the San Diego County Medical Examiners new facility in 2011. Each piece measures approximately 13'x6'x6'. Star Cluster aspires to the heavens. Cell Cluster references microbiology. These large-scale environmental sculptures suspended within the entry are composed of aluminum and stainless steel components that when combined are perceived as forms which echo the geometry and pattern of star formations and biological structures
