Overview
Specializing in modern, innovative, and sustainable architecture and design, award-winning, Santa Monica-based design studio, Minarc, delivers yet another form of function. With a philosophy focused on innovative design solutions, building techniques and unique use of materials, Minarc introduces their latest creation, the RUBBiSH ReFlow. Its simplistic design is focused on sustainability and functionality. The rubber sheet is stretched over a base frame and anchored down by the drain, creating a shallow sloped surface for water to disperse, guided by the natural topology of the sheet to define the slope, leading directly into the toilet. This allows for the water to be reused by repurposing the greywater from washing your hands to flush the toilet. This gives the opportunity of using only one plumbing system as well as the continuous conservation of water.
Goals
Main goal is to minimize water usage and offer ways to provide continuous conservation of water.
