Overview
This large-scale installation piece was generated by transforming over 40,000 pages of annual reports published by the corporate client, into more than 10,000 aggregated circles and flowing ribbons. The piece is the central artistic feature in the lobby space.
The client develops unique, world-class science and technology campuses, cultivating clusters of scientific innovation across the country. When seen from space, these clusters take on elaborate interlocking shapes resembling neurons in the brain. Abstracting those forms, the composition is a flowing representation of the concept, utilizing paper as its medium.
Goals
The goal was to upcycle the client's annual corporate reports into a striking piece of artwork for their lobby.
