Overview

The City of Altamonte Springs, Florida selected MGA to create an iconic sculpture for Cranes Roost Park to reflect the unique spirit and character of the community.
Drawing upon the local wildlife for inspiration, Mark designed a 19-foot crane bowing to feed its young colt. The sculpture is slated for installation early 2021.

Goals

Mark's style challenges the mundane and superficial. Inspired by a play on words, patterns in nature, the dance of light on water, the curvature of lips, or the spatial relationship of elements, his creations nudge the imagination toward its own discoveries. He and his team will design a sculpture that engages visitors and provides a sense of place as an icon of community fun and relaxation.
