Overview

We were activating an industrial space. The three suspended cubes pictured together ranged in size from 8 cubic feet to 27 cubic feet. (The title references a sense of stasis and nostalgia, which felt apt for the space. I personally connected it to witnessing an old couple together, seeing her drop a sugar cube in his tea, an insignificant gesture that can stand for so much.)

Process

There was very little collaboration. I had a free hand in the process, though I had plenty of assistance in hanging the pieces.
