Overview

This prototype project exemplifies using my style of artwork that blends historical photos of a city with abstract imagery to create inspiring, city-specific murals. Having participated in solo exhibitions where I featured archival photos in my artwork, the inspiration and joy audiences gain from seeing city-specific imagery in public art is important to my work. By creating murals from my artwork featuring real archival imagery, any city can offer its residents meaningful and beautiful public art.

Goals

This prototype project would include city-specific artwork that can be submitted by residents to create a sense of ownership and participation in the process of beautifying their city.
