Overview
I met the Lopez’s when they came to our building during open studios. They immediately fell in love with my work. They bought a piece for the dining room right then and there.
Goals
Since remodeling their home and working with Rejuvenation (which specializes and obsesses over the details of period authenticity and great design like no one else) they selected two commissioned pieces for the upstairs guest bedroom as well a small piece for a quiet passage.
Process
The Lopez's selected the colors, white on light blue. After speaking with them about their desired outcome, they gave me carte blanche, as they loved what they had purchased and seen what was in my studio. The outcome was a great success, I am pleased to say!!
Additional Information
After living with my work, the Lopez's refer to my art as "Modern Nostalgic." I think that is the perfect description for what I create.
