Overview
This is an installation of one-off fiberglass, pigment and LED artworks by David Lindberg. The artworks were created in the artist’s studio in Brooklyn NY for the display pictured here at Design Miami 2017. The works are all 12v LED
Goals
To create a group of ambient lighting artworks with exposed circuitry and LED’s coated with layers of multicolored transparent resin which casts colored light.
Process
An initial proposal was approved by a Design Miami committee. Then the artist worked with CAMP design gallery and an electronic engineer. The collaboration spanned Italy, Finland and the USA.
Additional Information
These concepts could be applied to larger sculptures and installations.
