Overview
A lovely client commissioned this painting after seeing a similar one of mine in an art gallery. She recognized the imagery correctly as that of the American Southwest. New Mexico, specifically. I had taken a trip there and fell in love with the scenery, which has been a big inspiration for many of my paintings. The client was renovating and redecorating her contemporary ranch home and wanted this to hang over the fireplace.
