Overview
A large aerial Atrium wall sculpture of meandering steam bent wood composed of three visually seamless modules covering over 500 Sq ft.
Goals
Designed create a unique, inspiring, natural sculpture form colored to match the rich interior ambiance and predominance as viewed from the historic River walk of San Antonio through the vast glass atrium.
Process
The project was contracted by award winning Leo A. Daly design firm after seeing Renee Dinauer's other work. The artist worked with assigned specifications regarding scale, randomness of design, color and working with the challenges of installation.
Additional Information
This project is Renee Dinauer's largest wall sculpture to date and through it's challenges allowed the artist to expand her horizons of possibility in scale and siting.
