Overview
They want more of a cohesive look; more significant that posters. Want “ART TO MATCH THE NEW SPACE”. They want “HURLEY TO REPRESENT A NEW START” from the negative economy and environment that was going on in Flint.
Goals
They wanted to use Michigan products/ artists. Monte has lived in Michigan his entire life and has a very large selection of Michigan images.
Process
They were working with HDR as the architect and Granger for construction. They were working on the project making decisions as they go through the process. We communicated via email and phone and had several face to face meetings to help select the appropriate artwork that would be unique to the space.
