Child Haven
Overview
Child Haven is a last resort refuge for abandoned and abused Children. Prior to enhancing the corridor it was 2,000 square feet of blank wall space that frightened the children as they passed through it. The artist created a mural to cover the blank space and to put a smile on the children’s faces.
Goals
To ease the transition of the kids into the campus was the main goal and it was achieved. More info here: http://www.clarkcountynv.gov/parks/services/Pages/child-haven-hope-corridor.aspx
Process
The artist worked with Child Haven staff and the Clark County Public Art program to create murals that would have a positive impact.
Additional Information
