Overview
A new Department of Veterans Affairs clinic was created in Ocala, Florida. Some wall art from the Gainesville and Ocala area of Florida was used. With a collaboration between architects, designers, and project and program managers, the project was a success and opened in early 2022.
Most artwork selected were framed prints at about 36″ x 24″ inches.
Goals
It was important to provide healing and healthcare art for this project. As a veteran, it was also important to support other veterans in their journey to health and wellness.
Process
The process involved consistent marketing, collaboration, and communication until the completion of the project. Patience, flexibility and partnerships are required throughout government projects, especially the Department of Veterans Affairs.
