Ceramic. 60″x72″ overall. Based on commissioned repertory work installed at Palm Springs Museum – Vault Store

Goals

The client saw and loved work at the museum store, but the scale was not right. We worked to expand and adjust the original design to suit the space. After approval, production and installation, artist recommended additional parts to complete the project. They were made, instructions for easy placement were written and the composition was completed by the client.

Process

This was an instance where the creative process of the project was handled between the client and the artist with the retail consultant keeping an eye. It seemed best to have less translation and more direct conversation to keep confusion to a minimum. Scale, color, form and changes were all easily discussed and decided.
