Goals
This project explored the tectonic implications of folding.
Process
Working with Karen Eichler, the art consultant, Charles Irby at DEKA submitted a proposal for a faceted entrance canopy. The triangular structure on the outside cuts through the hung resin panels on the interior, breaking the light and providing a sense of place. The green panel material was pulled from the buildings balconies to tie the piece into the building.
