Overview
How do you build connections between people and places? We teamed up with Holland America Line, a leader in the premium cruise industry, to create Explorations Central (EXC), an interactive space that celebrates the power of travel to enrich our lives.
Goals
Onboard experiences orient, educate, surprise, and delight, piquing curiosity and inspiring adventure. Interactive maps help guests dream bigger as they work with the ship’s knowledgeable crew to customize their time onshore.
Guests can also discover the tastes, traditions, and events that have shaped the destinations on their itinerary, share highlights from their own world travels, and learn more about the ship they’re traveling on.
We piloted EXC on the ms Westerdam—and it was a rousing success. By 2019, the entire Holland America Line fleet will have EXCs of their own.
