Overview
Color Clouds is a site specific public art installation that celebrates the unique skyscape over Houston. Made of polychrome mesh, the installation is inspired by the changing colors of storm clouds in Houston during the summer.
Goals
The goal for Color Clouds was to provide a portal to watching Houston's colorful skies. As an abstract cloud sculpture created on the site by hand, the work created a pop-up activation of an otherwise underutilized urban space.
