Overview
A set of 25 – 4″x4″x4″ cubes comprised of leaded and dichroic coated glasses, with sandblasted graphics, mounted on wall brackets that allow the pieces to turn individually. They can be mounted in any pattern. As shown the assemblage measures 40″x40″x7″.
Goals
The challenge was to create a wall assemblage using glass and aluminum in which the pieces are kinetic.
Process
I asked an associate to design the brackets.
Additional Information
A work of art changes perspective as we walk around it. With this concept it's possible also to change the angle of the artwork to the wall and thereby vary it's perspective.
