Overview
Chain Canopy is a series of hanging chains in a 3-dimensional catenary, with all of the chain links welded and inverted to form a sculptural canopy. The piece was commissioned for a new retirement community at the Anschutz Medical Campus.
Goals
To create a shady, inviting space for the residents of the center to congregate outside.
