Overview
A Napa developer wanted to honor the Hispanic community in wine country with a sculpture of two of their heroes, Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta. Because it is installed on a second floor balcony, the sculpture is cast in resin. The figures are larger than life.
Goals
The developer intially wanted the sculpture to be across the street in a city park, but the city officials did not support his idea. Nonetheless, the dedication was well-attended and Dolores Huerta was the guest of honor.
