Overview
In the communication on the escalator under the ceiling has been placed group of butterflies (34 pieces). Butterflies are made of acid resistant stainless steel butterflies have different sizes and shapes.
Goals
Butterfly group refers to the groups of people visiting the shopping center Futura Park Krakow. Butterfly symbolizes, joy, happiness, heading to the light and crossing boundaries of the everyday life. Sculpture was contributing to the achievement a positive impressions of the visit at the mall.
Process
The project required the support of visualization in 3D which was very helpful in the implementation of template for installation butterflies and laser cutting the shapes of butterflies. Were involved in the project company specialized technology allowing for design effect.
Additional Information
Butterflies are hanging in the space surrounded by storefronts in the installation reflect the different colors and elements of the shop windows, it is creates an interesting visual effect - a different angle on the position of the observer. Placing butterflies above escalator intensifies the effect, people enter the stairs to the top have the impression that the float with butterflies.
