Overview
An interactive bronze project that people could sit on the bench of Emma Eccles Jones. Affectionately known as Aunt Em. She as an innovator of early education.
Goals
Westminster College wanted to honor her for all of her work and create an interactive sculpture that would enhance the landscape inbetween the buildings on campus.
Process
This was a gift from the Eccles, Lawsen, and Quinney families to Westminster to honor Emma Eccles. We worked direcly with the Dean of the college and Fredric Lawsen to create a beautiful sculpture for the site.
Additional Information
The projected as designed to be interactive in a bench setting and that is what created the most successful project.
