6th Street and Butler Drive neighborhood pocket park, Phoenix, Arizona. 2019.
Stainless steel, integrated lighting; 25’ H x 8’ D
Commissioned by the City of Phoenix.
The hollow cutout pattern of the conic sculpture is inspired by the shadow patterns of native plant life. The sculptural environment also includes a meandering artist-designed A seemingly fluid ribbon of steel then swirls around the column and extends into the air representing a winding flow of water in combination with an illuminated blue LED light in the evening.
