For the past 40 years, Owen Morrel has created large-scale public sculptures, working on projects projects with The National Heritage Trust, The National Endowment for the Arts, State Parks and Public Works Departments, Community Groups and City officials across the U.S.A. "What’s important to me is the experience the viewer has in his or her own mind. My goal is to create a visceral, kinesthetic experience, a total mind-body involvement that precipitates both thinking and activity by drawing the viewer in to the piece and making them want to interact with it."
