Profile Type: artist
The central actor of my sculpture is color. My art unites an array of complex and unexpected unions of color, where the physical, material, perceptual, and psychological effects of color interact. To that end I have transformed mundane structures into euphoric icons, married exquisite color and materials to perform domestic functions and transform large public spaces into intimate refuges. Investigating the relationship between color and space, where art, architecture, and landscape architecture converge, to form unique and memorable environments capable of restoring a quality of the contemplative within our lives, are the core aspirations of my art.
