Overview
The Wall Knot is 58 inches of brushed and tinted stainless steel.
Goals
The goal of the project was to create a sophisticated centerpiece to greet residence in Washington, DC's new neighborhood The Yards. This was the main focus of the design.
Process
Collaboration took place between the client, Cynthia Byrnes Contemporary Art, and myself. We discussed the feeling we wanted the sculpture to convey, as well as the ways to best utilize the building's shapes.
