Overview
The Quebec Sculpture Council, a not for profit organization based in the province of Québec contracted a commission with the city of Boisbriand for the creation of 8 sculptures to be installed in Franc Bourgeois park, near a new housing development. As project manager, Marie-Josée Leroux took care of the call for artist among its members, present projects to the city selection committee, supervise budget and artists through the realization of their works and supervise the installation of the sculptures in the park.
Goals
In this new developped housing sector, an amount was kept for art works.
