Overview

Up We Go! celebrates vitality and life, with the intention to visualize the upward movement of humanity. The sculpture is made of custom extruded aluminum stakes and dichroic glass, and has a diameter of 5’ 10”. The aluminum stakes starting at a height of 12 feet and peaking at a height of 20 feet comprise the oblique form. The sculpture’s positive, skyward gesture has an invigorating effect, as the work seems to embrace sky and sun and encourages viewers to do the same.
