Overview

Venue Arts created holiday expressions in unique forms and materials for an international corporate client who preferred traditional holiday icons utilizing elements reminiscent of nature and that honored the cultures where they conducted their global business.

Goals

The goal was to honor the tradition of Christmas by fabricating the iconic holiday tree in shapes and materials that honored nature's natural beauty and recognized other cultures around the globe.

Process

Venue Arts designed a series of holiday trees utilizing many elements: wood, metal, minerals, sea sponges, butterflies, beading, felting and willow. It required many talents and skills of multiple artisans and artists including artists of the African Ndebele culture.

Additional Information

This was a wonderful design experience that showcased the holidays from a totally different perspective.
