Overview
These 8 panels can be arranged in several different fashions. As four individual pieces with two panels each with tulips at top, or tulip at bottom. Also linear as a group. Each panel is 24×24 inches, oil and charcoal pencil on a marble dust fresco surface, as well as metal on wood.
Goals
Artist's desire to incorporate flowers in a different way using her traditional materials, i.e. oil glazes, marble dust and metal on wood.
Process
These pieces were displayed at the Taubman Museum in Roanoke, Va, as well as New Editions Gallery in Lexington where they sold as pairs.
Additional Information
Being a gardener, it is always a nice challenge to convey the natural beauty in different ways.
