Overview
Tower II is a 40 foot twisted pillar of stainless steel, illuminated by sunlight in the daytime and programmable color LED lights after dark.
Goals
The cross-section is based on the outline on what would have been the second or twin Cityplace tower Southland Corporation planned for in the 80s.
Process
Tower II occupies an intermediate scale between the pedestrian realm and the surround architecture. It is a beacon for the the neighborhood.
