Client: Burning Man

Overview

For the 2022 Burning Man festival, the NYC Nothing sculpture was brought from NYC to Nevada for the week long event.

Goals

The large-scale work was very suitable for the wide open desert, as it afforded the largest shadow effect possible.

Process

Working with rigging, heavy equipment, wide-load transportation, Burning Man Org, and the process of permitting and regulations with the Bureau Of Land Management, the sculpture successfully placed in the Black Rock desert in time for the festival.
