Client: The Light Festival at Battersea Power Station

Overview

Talking Heads is an art installation designed to evoke the vast spectrum of human emotion. The metal sculptures incorporate over 4,000 individually programmed LEDs to communicate a vast range facial expressions. This unique artwork showcases the traditional elements of metal sculpture with cutting edge technology. Each sculpture is over 2 m tall and creates a dramatic addition to any landscape.

This project is meant to show a unique balance between traditional metal sculpture, modern LED lighting and relatable human emotion.
