Overview
Was commissioned to create a real estate gift for a clients house in San Francisco. the piece is 12″ x 7″ x 3″ in Pate de verre glass and carved Bass wood for the base. The piece is based on the wine cellars door in the house which is a cast iron door
Goals
I was given full artistic control of the project with the general goal of creating a glass version of the door in the wine cellar while adding a touch of color to the grapes and door from the plain gray.
Process
I started by submitting drawings to the client and then once we settled on the wine cellar door I had full control of the process.
