Overview
Square Totem was fabricated in accordance with Rhino CAT files. It is 13 feet high and 2 feet square in plan. In 3/8 inch steel, it is painted bright yellow on the inside and red-orange on the exterior.
Goals
I want to call attention to the differences in forms and colors among the built and living in our environment.
Process
While the project was conducted without a commission, it was intended for consideration for a yearly exhibit by Chicago Sculpture Exhibit, a not-for-profit organization that provides selected sculptures with a stipend and liability insurance in a location sponsored by contributing public and private sources.
Additional Information
Having proven its success during a year-long public exhibit, Square Totem is reliable candidate for purchase.
