Goals
Pae White‘s tapestries are woven with cotton and polyester using a 10-foot-wide jacquard loom. The artwork proposes the transformation of these humble materials into something reflective, deep, and shimmering. The artwork teases the viewer into believing they are seeing a sheet of crumpled metallic material only to discover up close, that their eyes have deceived them.
