Overview
“Sawyer” forms a gateway between a densely forested and open area at a bridge over a pond on a private property.
Goals
Constructed of weathering steel, "Sawyer" blends into the palette of pine straw and the surrounding trees.
Process
With art consultant Katie Block, overall several site visit the client and artist selected potential sites and collaborated on final locations and design.
Additional Information
"Sawyer" is the smaller of two commissions, located on the opposite side of the pond its companion "Rays" stretches 150 feet away from pond edge.
