Client: Mount Carmel, Saint Ann Hospital

Overview

The client requested a sculpture of Saint Ann, the patron of the hospital done in a traditional manner to be placed in a pavilion at the outside entrance of the hospital.

Goals

This piece was designed as part of a capital campaign which involved a substantial expansion of the existing hospital, the sculpture was designed to greet patrons as they entered, give comfort during their stay and peace as they left.

Process

This project was considerably more detailed and traditional then my personal style and vision so I worked with a team that specialized in traditional ornate carving to meet and exceed my clients desires.
