Overview
For the entry of Texas Tech University’s New Sports Performance Center. The technique of creating form from stainless steel slices held apart with added “motion lines”, gives the illusion of a woman athlete running as you pass by and each figure sequentially disappears. 11’ x 21’ x 5.5’ on 6’ pedestal. Day and night shots, lighted by LED's.
Goals
The sculpture and plinth designs were an integral part of the landscape architectural planning for the new Center's plaza.
