Overview
The Southern California ConsolidationProject for the California Air Resource Board (CARB) is an approximately 400,000square-foot facility on a 19-acre campus located in Riverside, CA. The campus is one of the world’s largest and most advanced emissions testing and research facilities and consolidates five existing locations into one state-of-the-art facility. The campus, under the design-build team of ZGF, Hensel Phelps (HP), and Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI), is the largest true zero net energy facility of its type and has the highest sustainability goals including Zero Net Energy, LEED Platinum,CALGreen Tier 2, and Zero Carbon.
