Overview
The Prizm Series art lighting suspensions are created with triangular 3″ x 3″ x 15-18″ clear acrylic drop tubes loaded with dichroic film and fiberoptic cable which is connected to a 30w RGB color-changing fiberoptic light engine. Suspension is via .013″ Chromium wire.
Goals
The goals in creating this lighting series were to create an ambient, minimalist, 'Zen/Industrial', flexible lighting suspension series using reclaimed materials for our lighting display facility and online for clients.
Process
The artist/designer is Lightlink Lightings' lead designer, Mike Brannon. Photography was also by Mike.
Additional Information
At Lightlink we try to use reclaimed and repurposed materials as much as we can to offset the waste stream. In this case we reused the clear acrylic and the Chromium suspension wire.
