Goals

To create a painting that would hang within a specific location of my client's home. Special emphasis placed on ensuring the painting fit aesthetically well within the minimal contemporary living space.

Process

Client requested that the commissioned painting contain elements of a previously created painting that I produced. Small samples were made by the artist and approved by the client prior to the artist producing the large scale painting.

Materials used: Indonesian Batiking tools. Stencils. Sgraffito technique. Gilding with 23K gold leaf.
