Overview

This floating mountain is made of 1,200 giant origami paper cranes suspended from the ceiling. It is made of paper, fluorocarbon, nylon, lead, galvanized steel and each bird measures approximately 10 x 10 x 10 inches for a total size of 215 x 156 x 152 inches.
The idea behind this project is to create an experience that evokes the outdoor environment that inspires us.

Goals

With this project I hope to conjure up feelings of being in vast outdoor spaces that create a sense of wonder.
