Overview

The Artwork consists of two large Light drawings of 156 square meters in the glass front of two new buildings for the Fraunhofer Research – Institutes for Laser Technology and Production Technology. Both drawings are connected to the computer networks of the institutes: light scenes and colors of the changing light are generated by the input the Light system gets out of the data traffic within the institutes.

Goals

The institutes wanted to represent their work to the public in impressive but abstract way.The idea was to create a connection between technology, art and architecture.
