Overview

Goals

The%20concept%20is%20to%20have%20students%20and%20visitors%20interact%20with%20the%20sculpture%20and%20play%20different%20types%20of%20music.%20%20The%20intention%20is%20to%20show%20the%20participants%20the%20potential%20and%20development%20%20of%20new%20sounds%20created%20by%20the%20interaction%20of%20human%20and%20object.%0AStudents%20will%20be%20able%20to%20interact%20with%20the%20mobile%20machines%20in%20different%20ways%3A%0A-%20To%20compose%20new%20music%20encouraging%20them%20a%20dialogue%20through%20art%20and%20music%2C%20by%20exploring%20new%20way%20to%20live%20and%20interact%20with%20art%20and%20with%20other%20students.%0A-%20To%20give%20them%20the%20possibility%20to%20create%20their%20own%20music.

Process

My%20proposal%20is%20to%20install%20and%20display%203%20different%20mobile%20machines%20(each%20machine%20will%20be%20of%20a%20different%20materials%20and%20dimension).%20Each%20sculpture%20plays%20a%20different%20sound%20according%20to%20the%20material%20which%20is%20made%20of%2C%20as%20each%20material%20perceives%20the%20vibration%20in%20a%20different%20way%20and%20reproduces%20a%20different%20sound%20with%20a%20different%20propagation.%0AA%20device%20%20is%20attached%20to%20the%20sculpture%20and%20is%20connected%20via%20a%20smartphone.%20The%20sculpture%20initiates%20vibrations%20from%20the%20touch%20of%20the%20player.%20The%20player%20can%20control%20the%20sound%20through%20the%20smartphone%E2%80%99s%20app%20(it%20can%20be%20played%20by%20hand%20or%20by%20any%0Atool%3A%20metal%20rings%2C%20wood%20tools%2C%20plastic%20fork%20etc%E2%80%A6%20Each%20tool%20will%20reproduce%20a%20different%20sound).%0AThe%20concept%20is%20to%20have%20students%20and%20visitors%20interact%20with%20the%20sculpture%20and%20play%20different%20types%20of%20music.%20The%20intention%20is%20to%20show%20the%20participants%20the%20potential%20and%20development%20of%20new%20sounds%20created%20by%20the%20interaction%20of%20human%20and%20object.

Additional Information

The%20project%20will%20be%20implemented%20with%20light%20sensors%3A%2030%20springs%20%20made%20of%20a%20RGB%20LED%20flexible%20neon%20will%20be%20connected%20to%20the%20sensor%20for%20the%20light%20and%20%20sound%20and%20placed%20on%205%20horizontal%20plexiglass%20tubes.%207%20vertical%20steel%20aluminum%20bars%20will%20separate%20the%20notes%20and%20will%20sustain%20the%20horizontal%20plexiglass%20tubes%20at%20the%20same%20time.%20The%20synthesizer%20elaborator%20will%20control%20lights%20and%20will%20light%20up%20in%20sync%20with%20the%20sounds%20played.%C2%A0%20Three%20loudspeakers%20will%20be%20placed%20and%20integrated%20at%20the%20bottom%20of%20the%20sculpture.
